An extremely talented Musician at heart and retired Private Home Inspector James Nelson Clippert ’s love of life didn’t come to an end with his death. James passed peacefully away in his home in Canton, Michigan on March 20, 2021 at the age of 64 after a long battle with cardiac problems, cancer and copd. He was surrounded by loved ones who will forever honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
James was born to the most wonderful and generous of people. His mother Mary Susan Clippert-Lamont(Nankervis) and the late John Reuss Clippert. He married his high school sweetheart Sandra Lee Clippert(McKinley) shortly after he completed his associate’s degree at the Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn, After working many years for his family “Clippert Brick Company” as a director, he formed a home inspection firm where he served as a licensed builder and Consultant. He took great pride in his family and his great friends, he shared great pride in fishing and hunting, which was of most importance to him together with all of his children and friends.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to James. He enjoyed most every evening with family and friends, his glass of bourbon and pop in hand. He had an uncanny ability to find happiness in his daily activities. He treated everyone like family including his many step grandchildren. His personality was a trait that everyone enjoyed. His humor was one of a kind and people were always looking forward to his presents. He was always admired by anyone he encountered. James is survived by his wife, Sandra; Their 3 sons, Christopher James(Kara) :Nora Susan, George Harrison III(Julie): Morgan Kathleen, James Nelson II, Harrison Robert, Nicholas Jonathan Clippert, Kierra Ann, Robert DJ, Mary Ann, Julianna Myrtle, Nicholas EJ Veal Jonathan Robert(Cassandura): Alivea Grace and William George Tyrrell; and his two brothers, Geoffrey John (Katheryne) Clippert; George Harrison II(Late), Sherry Clippert-DeVogel, Best-Friend Howard; “Tony” Ternes and Best Brother-In-Law; Jeffrey Harold McKinley.
