Tina Day Sahli, 68, passed away peacefully in Kalamazoo, MI, on Wednesday, February 17th, of Covid related illness. She was born and raised in Sturgis, MI and lived there for most of her life with her husband Sam Sahli, of nearly 46 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Anna Day, and her sister, Joann (Toots) Hahn.
She is survived by her husband, her four children, Keri (Wayne) Sircy of Statesboro, GA; Krystal (Joe) Mason of Jacksonville, FL; Kori (Cheryl) Sahli of Centreville, MI; and Kasey (Pam) Sahli of Dublin, GA; grandchildren, Garet, Malory, and Maddie Sircy, Noah, Tyler, and Jack Mason, Tyler, Tahlin, Takoa, Charlotte and Oliver Sahli, Collin and Brooklyn Frane, Jakob, Allie, and Lydia Sahli; one sister, Jean (Jim) Pfenning of Howe, IN, and one brother, John (Lori) Day of Sturgis, MI. Tina was so excited about her first Great-Grandchild, due in May, and we just know that she will be there, welcoming Ryley Kay (her middle name) with excitement and love, wishing she could be here to hold her.
More than anything, Tina loved spending time with her beloved family and friends. She so enjoyed camping, riding on the back of Sam’s Harley, putting together puzzles, The Wizard of Oz, crafting, dancing, singing, and being a part of the Grooving Grannies. She won her battle against stage IV breast cancer in 2011 and was a true Warrior. She will be forever remembered and missed as a kind-hearted, giving, and fun-loving woman who will always be known as “Mom” by so many in the community. There will be a Celebration of Life announced in the Spring as Tina loved the season and loved the regrowth of Life.
